The Purple Onion is located in Historic Saluda, with live music and outdoor dining available. The Purple Onion features a variety of ethnically inspired dishes with an emphasis on the Mediterranean's simple, healthful cuisine and a focus on freshness. The music happens on Thursdays and Saturdays, but the kitchen performs to rave reviews five days a week. The menu includes pizzas, pastas, vegetarian, sea food and meat dishes.
