Event: Marianna Black Library hosts the Anime Club Meeting
Time/Place: OCT 24, 11:00 AM -3:00 PM, Marianna Black Library, Bryson City NC. A day of giant robots, time-traveling dog demons, cyborg cops and magical girls! Anime (pronounced “ah-ni-may”) is animation from Japan. But these are nothing like kiddie cartoons. These shows, full of action, adventure and outrageous humor, have gained a huge following in the United States. They are popular among middle and high school students, and especially on college campuses.
