Moon Madness at Lake James State Park

February 19, 6PM, Lake James State Park, Nebo North Carolina. The Moon's rhythms have been guiding timekeepers throughout history influencing Earth's cycles, such as tides, and has been charted by many cultures around the globe. Join Park Ranger Nora Coffey and learn about Earth's only natural satellite, the MOON. Meet at the Lake James State Park Office at 6:00 p.m. Program begins with an indoor discussion, followed by an outdoor activity and moon viewing. Park gates are locked at 6:00 p.m. and remain locked for the duration of the program! Please call the park office, 828-652-5047 for program registration by noon February 18th.
