Annual Spring Festival in Sylva
April 24 Downtown Sylvia North Carolina. Greening Up the Mountains Festival This annual Spring festival, named for the way spring creeps up the mountain sides, began over a decade ago as a celebration of Earth Day. The festival has evolved into a community celebration of Spring with a 5K run, artisans, community organizations, children’s activities, environmental education groups, Youth talent contest and much more.
